Canadian Provinces, Collection, 1857-1947, virtually all mint mounted on album pages; Newfoundland with some good early classic issues including 1857, 8d scarlet vermilion and 1861, 2d-1sh values, strong completion thereon including 1865-94 issues complete and following roulettes, 1880-96 issues, 1897 Cabot set, 1920 surcharges, etc., airmails including 1932, $1 DO-X, B.C. & V.I. with a couple good surcharge seal issues, New Brunswick with a couple used 1851 issues and 1860-63 issues mint x2, similar Nova Scotia with used first issues and 1860-63 complete mint, P.E.I. including #1 and good later; condition mixed with some nice fresh material throughout, owners cat in excess of $18,750.

Newfoundland, Collection, 1857-99, mint and used housed on album pages; with value concentrated in early classic issues, many scarce to rare issues including used 1857, 2d scarlet vermilion (Sc. #2, cat $5,500) with used 4d & 6d scarlet vermilion issues (Sc. #4 & 6, cat $3,750 & $4,750 respectively), good used 1860 issues include the 2d & 4d orange values (cat $475 & $1,150) and highlighted by the rare 1sh orange value (Sc. #15 expertly repaired, cat $11,500), 1862 rose issues mint including additional 4d upper margin block of 10 and 6d corner margin vertical pair, smattering of useful to good later issues, etc.; accompanied by 3 A.P.S. certs., condition varies, well worth careful inspection.
