1851-1876, Printed Circulars from Great Britain to the U.S., group of five, first 1868 Jan. bearing 2d deep blue prepaying 2d printed matter rate to destination (valid only 15 months); remaining four bearing 1d red, comprising 1851 Martineau, Croskey & Co. of Southampton with info on the US Steam Packets between Southampton and N.Y. for May to Dec. 1851; 1862 Scotland to Andover, 1865 Charles Gumm's Freight Circular from London to Alexandria Va. with manuscript "2¢" due rating; and 1876 Robert Crooks & Co. circular from Liverpool with printed "Per 'Germanic.' " endorsement to New York; F.-V.F., an interesting group.
