1803-1850 U.S. - Netherlands Mails via Sailing Packet, group of 20 stampless covers including carriage by Union Line of Havre Sailing Packets, 1st & 2nd Line of Havre Sailing Packets, better includes 1818 from Olden Barnevled N.Y. to The Hague with scarce debourse h.s., 1827 Amsterdam to Providence via Boston "Ship", 1838 Rotterdam to Kingston Mass. via French sailing packet, and 1848 Buffalo N.Y. to Deventer with wax seal impressed by seated liberty dime; some forwarding agents, many different exchange points and markings, Very Fine and interesting group.

1814-1867 U.S. - Netherlands Mails, group of seven stampless covers comprising 1814 Amsterdam to Providence with New York "Ship" 53¢ rating, 1831 Boston and 1838 Baltimore Md. to Schiedam, both with "Pays D'Outremer/Par Le Havre" framed h.s., three 1851-53 New Orleans La. letters to Amsterdam with oval "England over Ostende" backstamps, one carried on maiden voyage of Cunard Line Arabia; and 1867 New York to Amsterdam with "70" Dutch cents due, a Very Fine group.

'Paid 24' Aug 4" cds; 1840 Leeds to Boston with "Forwarded" straightline; 1844 New Orleans La. to Manchester paid "50" to N.Y. and "1/-" packet due; 1859 Liverpool rebacked front to New Orleans with "Portland Me. Am. Pkt. '24' " debit cds, 1860 Dec. 20 London to Manchester carried on maiden voyage of Cunard Line Australasian; 1859 Apr. 21 Bristol to Thompsonville with Middletown Ct. red cds and black "Missent" straightline; etc etc, few faults, F.-V.F., A remarkable collecting basis.

1830s-1873 U.S. - France Mails, stampless collection balance of 84 covers with a wide range of ratings and markings, better includes four Cuba to France via New York with diamond "G.B./3F60c" accountancy handstamps; several examples with framed "Am Service" or "Br Service" handstamps, 1849 Mar. 20 carried on Cunard Line America from Boston on its first sailing under the new US/UK treaty; two 1870 Philadelphia "Unpaid" cds to Cognac with "GB/2F" accountancy h.s., and many more; etc., F.-V.F.
