27mm Solid Circle, bold strike ties two 1873, 10¢ brown singles, on 1875 folded letter to Acapulco, Mexico, endorsed per City of New York, bold strike of red "New York Oct 30" exchange cds, left 10¢ with light corner crease, Very Fine, ex-Vlissengen-Waud; with 2003 P.F. certificate. Weiss No. TR-M10.

Elaborate Positive Geometric, choice bold strike on 1873, 30¢ black, some light tiny creases, an Extremely Fine strike, ex-Weiss, illustrated in Weiss on page 137. Scott No. 165.

This is perhaps the finest recorded strike of this rare cancel with such a crisp early strike. It is also the only recorded strike on the 30¢ value.

Elaborate Negative Geometric, clear strike in red ties 6¢ dull rose (159) and 30¢ gray black (165), both stamps exceedingly well centered, on 1874 cover to Paris, France, matching "New York 'SUP Paid' Nov 21" supplementary mail type E cds, Calais (12.4.74) entry cds and matching small "PD" framed handstamp, Paris (12.4) arrival backstamp; few flaws incl. cover repair at right, Fine and rare franking on a small-size cover.

Elaborate Positive Geometric, two central strikes tie 3¢ green (158) and 6¢ dull pink (159), horizontal pairs of each, on 1875 cover to Pont d'Ain, France, red "New York 'Paid' May 18" exchange c.d.s., forwarded upon arrival to Paris, Calais (5.30.75) entry c.d.s. and matching "P.D." framed h.s. also ties 6¢ pair, various backstamps include Pont d'Ain (5.31) and Paris (6.1); few slightly toned perfs and trivial edgewear; a Very Fine double 9¢ treaty rate usage, ex-Richards.
