Hackfeld & Co. corner card cover to Wolfenbutte, Germany, forwarded to Stapelburg with company and appropriate transit backstamps; some perf toning central cover file fold affecting left 2¢ stamp, otherwise Very Fine, an attractive franking.

Jul 1 1895" cds and red London (7.15) arrival d.s.; some edge faults including reduced at left; Fine, a rare high-value paquebot use.

Bartels in Washington D.C., matching registry handstamp, blue "W. Auld, Honolulu, H.I." double-oval flap handstamps, San Francisco (9.11) and Washington D.C. (9.16) registry handstamps; slight cover toning and couple small edge tears; prepaid for four-times 20¢ UPU rate plus 10¢ registry fee, still a Very Fine and scarce properly paid registry use.
