Confederacy, 1862, 5¢ Blue, full to mostly large margins, deep rich color on bright paper, cancelled by fancy "Big Shanty, June 2" framed postmark on small piece, Very Fine and choice.

This Big Shanty, Ga. straightline postmark with fancy frame is known used from March to June 1862 only.

R. Gooch in Richmond, Virginia making this an overpaid drop letter; opened for display, Very Fine and attractive.
