Express, Benicia" oval, Bamber & Co. with 1869 scroll frank and oval handstamp "Paid" frank usages, Pacific Express Co., Nevada oval date stamp on unfranked cover, 1860's Pacific Union Express Co. entires from Santa Rosa and Petaluma, F.-V.F. or better.

Covers, 1857-1900, selection of 19 covers, mostly Wells, Fargo & Co., but including conjunctive usage with Salmon River & Nez Perces Express, cancelled by Leutzinger Type 12-3, "Pl.Ville, Boise, I.T".to Red Bluff and then forwarded to Sacramento; also 1894 WF Ventura; red boxed WF Express. Ogden, U.T.; red oval 1894 San Diego; red oval 1885 Marysville, Cal.; blue oval Downieville; Type 3-2 Knights Landg on 3¢ Star Die; 3¢ Nesbitt with Jamestown, another Suisun; another Nevada without frank; 1884 purple "Victoria" oval on 3¢ small Queen, with blue "Domestic Frank, Victoria, Vancouver Island" frank; blue (green) frank on 3¢ Nesbitt cancelled blue oval Sacramento; gray shaded Meussdorffer allover; interesting diverse group, somewhat mixed condition.
