(Peace) Nation Shall Not Lift Up Sword Against Nation, Neither Shall They Learn War Any More, allover illustrated Valentine design with flags altered (American version), on cover franked with 1851 3¢ dull red (mostly large margins) tied by "Milford, Ms., Sep 14" cds, with arrival postmark of "Taunton, Ms., 3cts., Sep 15" at left; some minor age spots, Very Fine and attractive, ex W. Fox.

Soon after the British design appeared in the U.S., a new design was being sold in America. Here, the British flag was transferred to the right of the standing figure and an American flag was substituted for the original British one to the left of the figure.
