Circular Geometric, blurry strike ties 1873, 10¢ brown on cover to Parral, Mexico with "via El Paso, Texas" land routing, blue Herrmann Sep. 4th 1875 company oval, Mexican "25" due rating handstamp, Very Fine, This is an unusual use from New York to Mexico via the land route apparently processed through the foreign mail department. Scott No. 161.

States, Halifax, NO 15, 1861" arrival backstamp, black "5" pence due rating handstamp; no side flap, Very Fine and unusual use. Scott No. 67.

This letter was first directed to the N.Y. Foreign Mail division and cancelled by the red grid, then properly handled by the Domestic Division who cancelled with the duplex device.

Transit Mar 20" exchange cds, carried as endorsed by Guion Line Wyoming from New York to Queenstown arriving Apr. 1st, reverse with Basel (4.4), Zurich (4.4) and Thalweil (4.4) cds, fresh and Very Fine, One of only 5 recorded example of this scarce NYFM cancel.
