1908, 1¢ green, mixed issue franking with 2¢ Trans-Mississippi (286) and 2¢ Hudson Fulton (372), all tied by barred oval duplexed with "Boston, Mass Nov 30 1910" cds on cover to the Postmaster at Kandahar, Afghanistan, cover returned to sender, various backstamps including "Refuse/Refused" framed handstamp and D.L.O. Bombay (1.25); Very Fine and fabulous destination.

1908, 1¢ green, tied by "Fort De Soto Fla. Jul 11 1910" duplex on post card to Braddock Heights, Md., purple "Tampa Bay Quarantine" straightline handstamp; some toning around perfs caused by disinfection, Fine and scarce.
Scott No. 331    Estimate $150 - 200.

The Tampa Bay quarantine facility inspected arriving passengers and were sent to quarantine for medical reasons.
