Collection Balance, mostly mint, written up and mounted on exhibit pages with singles, multiples, plate blocks, freaks with crazy perfs and printing errors, etc., noted 331 left plate block of six, 374 top pl. # block of six with star, 374 nh top pl. # block of six with "A", 383 pl. # blk/6 with "A", 405 pl # blk/6 with imp. and "A", 405 nh pl. # blk/6 with "A", 405 nh pl # blk/6, 408 var. lower right corner blk/4 with Kansas City Roulettes, 424 nh single PSE graded XF-S 95, 424 pl blk/10 with "Coil Stamps", 462 preprint paper fold, 462 singles with the three Bureau experimental precancels, 462 blk/4 with crazy perfs, 498 corner blk/8 and blk/4 with crazy perfs from fold over, 498 single and pair with shifted perfs, 498 single with preprint foldover and pair with large ink blob, 525 corner margin single with huge preprint fold, 525 corner margin blk/4 with crazy perfs, 531 nh centerline block/4, 531 precancelled blk/4, 531 used line pair, 542 nh left pl # blk/6, 542 right pl # blk/6, 542 pair with gutter at top, numerous singles showing shades, etc., plus a few covers, generally F.-V.F. and better, condition much better than usual, with many very fine or better pieces, selected over many years for inclusion in exhibit.

1¢ Wash.-Franklin - Coils, collection balance mounted on exhibit pages including strips, guideline pairs, paste-up pairs, leader and trailer strips, better includes four 348 pairs of guideline (small perf tear) and three paste-up pairs showing misalignment and one with Bureau imprint under overlap; two 352 pairs with 2mm and 3mm spacing, 383V strips and five covers including largest multiple use of two strips of six and a guideline strip of seven, 383H strip of four, 408H/V leader and trailer strips, 412 guideline strip of seven with Benton Harbor Mich. precancel, 412 strip with leader roll, 441: pair with leader strip and single with trailer, 443: pair, paste-up pair and guideline pair, 452: pair, guideline pair and single use on post card, etc, condition much better than usual, with many very fine or better pieces, selected over many years for inclusion in exhibit, some faults to be expected, F.-V.F.

Rotary Press Printing - Web Splice and Repairs, group comprising block of 40 showing splice of top row (pair removed to show splice), middle two rows printed on double paper; #448 strip of four with glued perforated repair strip applied (the repair strip with perf. 11 verse the coil having perf. 10); #452 pair with splice; #452 on cover with perforated 11 gauge repair strip showing; a Very Fine group.

"D" with pl. no., 424d pos. "D" with pl. no., complete exploded BK42, 424d pane of five used on R.P.O. cover to Bohemia, 424d two complete panes with tabs on registered cover to Woodstock Vt. (2002 P.S.E.), 498e pair and three singles on American Red Cross cover to France, generally F.-V.F. or better.

Occupied Dominican Rep. and Haiti, Puerto Rico, Vera Cruz, Mexico with provisionals, Shanghai, two experimental flights including. AAMC 50a, parcel postage due, war tax parcel post tag, some RPOs, AEF free registered use from Ireland, printed matter foreign mails from Representative, auxiliary markings like "fraudulent", first day of war rate use, RTS due to war, foreign postage dues including. Egypt, France and Austria, Chicago tube station mail, two NYC registered label covers to Germany and Sweden, glitter post card with intact glassine, Santa Clause greet envelope, fraudulent use of documentary stamp with 2¢ postage due added, etc., F.-V.F., condition much better than usual, selected over many years for inclusion in exhibit, inspection will be rewarded.
