Panorama of Nashville, allover multicolored Magnus patriotic design on cover to North Dover, Ohio, franked with 1861, 3¢ brown red tied by "Port Royal, S.C., Oct 25" cds and matching target handstamp, with original enclosure on multicolored dual scene Magnus letterhead entitled "Empire State" with a view of Manhattan, datelined "Folly Island, 17 Oct, 1863"; stamp with faint corner crease and cover edge lightly cleaned, otherwise Very Fine, a very rare allover Magnus view design on cover accompanied by it's original Magnus letterhead enclosure, ex Sapperstein, Bischel and Gross.

Patriotic Poem Address, six verse "The Red, White & Blue" address poem to the editor of the The Mirror in Bloomville, N.Y., franked with 1861, 3¢ rose (small toned perf spot) tied by "Meredith, N.Y., Mar 17" cds, poem not only direct letter to recipient, but urges him, through verse, to more forcefully espouse the Union cause…There's a building up in Bloomville, striped with red & white, Where Champion prints the Mirror, if I am told aright, And I've heard it whispered, tho' I cannot say tis true, The office and its owner make the "red, white and blue"…, Very Fine, a wonderful and rare poem address cover with patriotic sentiment; with 2004 P.F. certificate.
