Wells' Moore's Flat & Eureka Express, ornate frank (Wes-001) on 1864, 3¢ pink entire to Sacramento, canceled by blue "Wells, Fargo & Co., Nevada, Jan 21" oval handstamp, pencil "can't find" and street address; slightly reduced at right, Very Fine, one of seven recorded examples of this frank that was used for only a five month period.

Wheeler's Expresses, group of 6 items; including Wheeler's Express handstamp paste-up usage and ribbon frank entire with W.F. & Co. handstamp, Holland & Wheeler's Express handstamp on a 1863 Pioneer Mining Co. incorporation document and red scroll frank on entire to N.Y., Wheeler, Rutherford & Co. and Rutherford & Co. scroll franks in rebacked fronts; condition mixed, a Fine group.

Whiting & Co.'s Feather River Express, black ornate boxed frank (WHI-005) on 1860, 3¢ pink entire to Virginia City N.T., canceled by blue "Holland & Morley & Co. Express, La Porte, Cal." oval handstamp (HOM-100); cover reduced at right slightly into indicia, otherwise Very Fine, one of five combination usages with the Holland & Morley handstamp.

Whiting & Co.'s Feather River Express, banner frank on 1864, 3¢ pink rebacked front to Whitby, Canada, uprated with 1861, 10¢ green and canceled by "Paid" handstamps, partial "Quincy, Cal., Sep 15" cds and red "U.S. 10cts, Paid" oval handstamp, "Crescent Q.M. Co., Indian Valley" circular date stamps; toning at bottom and sealed tear at top, F.-V.F. appearance.

Whiting & Co.'s Feather River Express, Paid, oval 4-line handstamp frank (Thomas WHI-101) on 1864, 3¢ pink entire to the Crescent Quartz Mining Co. in Crescent Mills, 1865 pencil docketing at left; missing backflap and small tear at top, otherwise Very Fine, only nine examples of this handstamp frank are recorded.

Forwarding Merchant Corner Cards, two different on separate 1864, 3¢ pink entires with Wells, Fargo & Co. company franks at top; one in plain rectangle box vertically at left (Thomas WHT-401), used from San Francisco to Carson, Nevada, other in serrated boxed "Whitney & Co., Forwarding Merchants, Sacramento…" (Thomas unlisted), used from New Castle to Todds Valley; the later missing backflap, otherwise Very Fine.
