Special Delivery, 1908, 10¢ green, used with 2¢ carmine and 10¢ yellow Franklins, all tied by "Columbus Ohio" registry ovals on registered special delivery cover with illustrated Linotype Printing Machine ad to Dayton Oh., 1549-A registry label affixed over edge with "Columbus Ohio Registered, Apr 4 1910" magenta cds, purple Dayton (4.5) arrival backstamp, Very Fine and rare E7 use with the 1549-A registry label., This is the earliest of only three recorded examples of the 1549-A registry label used from Columbus Oh., ex-Gobie, illustrated on page 141 in his book.

Postage Due, 1884, 3¢ red brown, horizontal pair, tied by "New York, PO" oval cancel on incoming cover from Cuba to New York City bearing Cuba 2c slate blue (136) tied by "Havana, 3 Ene 91" cds, framed "T/Cuba" handstamp, New York (1.6) backstamp and "Collect, Postage .6 Cents" handstamp; top edge fault, some edge wear, Very Fine and scarce.
