Confederacy, 1861, 5¢ green, margins to slightly in, tied by "Atlanta Ga. Mar 8 1862" cds on yellow cover to Griffin Ga with attractive "Salmons & Simmons, Dealers in Staple & Fancy Goods, Atlanta Ga." red embossed cameo corner card; reduced slightly at right, Very Fine and stunning.

This corner card of Salmons & Simmons is known in the colors of red and green. We offered the other red example in Sale 37 lot 1641 (realized $1,092) and offered two examples in green (Sale 53 lot 4396 & Sale 34 lot 2636).
