Australia, Postage Due, 1902, ½d emerald green, in combination with Postage Due, 1902, 2d emerald green and manuscript canceled on post card to Tasmania, franked with Strait Settlements 1¢ KEVII tied by "Penang, Se 3, 1904" cds, "T" in triangle handstamp with pencil rate above; internal tear in card, otherwise Very Fine, one of only a handful of single first series ½d Postage Due issues on cover.

Australia, Postage Due, 1902, 1s emerald green, in combination with Postage Due, 1902, 5d emerald green, bottom margin pair on cover to Hobart, Tasmania, tied by indistinct town cancels, franked with Victoria 1d red pair tied by "1740" barred oval handstamps, "Beech Forest, Victoria, Je 6, 07" origin cds and "T 4d" in oval alongside; couple cover filing holes, one affecting 1sh, otherwise Very Fine, with postage dues accounting for a total of probably five additional letters.

Australia, Postage Due, 1902, 8d emerald green, tied by "Hobart, Tasm., Fe 8" cds on 1904 cover from Cronamble, N.S.W., franked with N.S.W. 1899, 2d ultramarine tied by "201" starburst cancel, boxed "Def: 2d, Fine 2d/4d" handstamp and receiving postmark; cover filling hole, Very Fine, apparently the postage due issue was for a least two letters.

Australia, Postage Due, 1903 Bothwell To Campbell Town, Tasmania, unfranked cover with "4d To Pay" oval handstamp crossed out an endorsed "Refused" at left, sent to Dead Letter Office, opened & returned to sender, then franked with Tasmania 1899, 1d carmine pair + 2d violet and re-posted; small nick in 1d stamp, otherwise Very Fine, an rare and unusual usage.

Australia, Postage Due, 1907, ½d green, 2 complete right pane sheets of 60, one with watermark upright and "97076" machine serial number in top right corner selvage, other with watermark inverted, each with 'ST' of 'POSTAGE' joined flaw (position R9/1), all except one stamp never hinged, serial number pane with some crimped perfs at right, otherwise Very Fine, a exceptionally rare pair of sheets.
SG No. D45, D45w    £1,680 for o.g. singles ($2,720).

Marginal markings on these issues are unusual and it is belived that they occur once in every 1,000 sheets and that the numbers were used for inventory purposes by the paper manufacturer.

Australia, Postage Due, 1907 Leicester, England Round-The-World Via Sydney, New South Wales, oversized cover franked with G.B. 4½d QV issue tied by origin cds's to Sydney, readdressed to Nelson, British Columbia and franked with N.S.W. 1888, 4d brown + 1891, 3d green + 1899, 2½d dark blue diagonally bisected, 4d & 3d tied by "Registered, Sydney N.S.W., Ju 10, 07" cds, received in Nelson, B.C. with Canada 1906 5¢ Postage Due tied by Nelson postmark, readdressed again back to Leicester via New York with Canada 1898, 7¢ olive yellow + 2¢ Map + 1897, 2¢ Jubilee, London etiquette and appropriate transit backstamps; cover tear at top, still Very Fine for this.
Estimate    $300 - 400.
