THIS IS THE EARLIEST INCOMING MAIL TO PANAMA AND THE ONLY RECORDED EXAMPLE DURING THE COLONIAL ERA.
Shortly after this letter was mailed the paylebot "Sacramento" was captured by the Peruvian revolutionaries and became the first boat in the Peruvian Navy.
