Circle of Diamonds, three strikes tying 1867, 1¢ blue, E. grill, strip of three on cover to Ledyard, Ct., additionally tied by "Putman, Con., Sep 28" cds, Very Fine and choice, a wonderful multiple strike of this fancy radial cancel, unlisted in Skinner & Eno; with 1990 P.F. certificate.

Five-Point Star Cancel of Waterbury, Ct., complete strike tying 1861, 3¢ rose on cover to Waukegan, Ill., matching "Waterbury, Con., Jun 1" cds alongside; small cover edge tears and crease ending in tear affecting stamp at right, a Very Fine strike, a rare fancy cancel used between May 16 and June 10, 1868, Rohloff rarity RRRR (less than 6 examples known). Scott No. 65.
