1852, 1¢ blue, type IV, o.g., lightly hinged, huge margins all around showing portions of adjacent stamp,s at top and bottom, deep color and sharp impression on bright paper, Superb, with two examples to grade as such with only to grade higher; with 1999 P.F. and 2009 P.S.E. certificates, the later Graded (Superb 98, SMQ $6,500).

1852, 1¢ blue, type IV, Plate 1 Late, Right Pane, 12 used singles and unused strip of three, all plated (from 2R1L to 64R1L), margin mostly large to touching with some just cutting into design, includes two marginal singles, mostly light unobtrusive cancels, strip with clipped corners and creases; others with small flaws to be excepted, Very Fine appearance overall.

1851, 3¢ orange brown, types I & II, 11 stamps, all with a sheet margin on one or more sides, virtually all with intact framelines other sides, some plated, bright shades with some variety, nice range of cancels including blue grid and circular datestamps, red grids, large Boston "Paid", couple with tiny flaws, F.-V.F., a fresh and desirable group with better position pieces.
