1861-66 (1875 Re-issue), 30¢ brownish orange, duplex cancel, distinctive deep rich brownish orange color, small faint and virtually indiscernible corner crease at top right and small microscopic closed tear at bottom right, Fine appearance; with 1984, 1990 and 2004 P.F. certificates (with 1984 certificate not mentioning crease and 1990 certificate not noting tear).

AN ATTRACTIVE AND RARE USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1861 30¢ RE-ISSUE. WITH ONLY FOURTEEN USED EXAMPLES RECORDED.

According to the Siegel census, only fourteen used examples of the 30¢ Re-issue are recorded. With eight examples known to have faults, most of these have serious flaws and only a very few examples having decent centering.
