France, 1870, Siege of Paris, 10c bister on yellowish, tête-bêche, a visually striking mint block of nine with center stamp the inverted cliche, wonderfully fresh color and paper, strong intact perforations all around, full clean original gum, the top and bottom stamps lightly hinged, the center three stamps including the tete-beche pair are never hinged, Very Fine, ex-"Lafayette", Gross; signed Bernard and Pascal Behr, J.F.
