Lombardy-Venetia, 1850 Arms 15c red, hand-made paper, type III, large margins to full, bright color, tied by "Piazza, Ago. 11" two-line handstamp on large part of folded letter to the vicinities of Clusone, neat Clusone (8.12) backstamp; light horizontal file fold barely affects stamp, otherwise Very Fine and rare use from Piazza; 2004 Sismondo certificate, signed by Oliva and Sismondo.
Scott Nos. 4    Estimate $500 - 750.

The Piazza cancellation is rare with a Sassone rarity factor of 11 in the cancellations manual.
