Iran, Collection, 1870-1979, housed in three specialized Farahbaksh albums; starting with early Lion issues needing to be checked with used 1878 5k violet bronze (signed Brun, cat $3,000 if genuine), good showing of issues to 1925 with better needing to be checked for forgery/reprint material, later issues including 1939 Pahlavi imperf set of 10, many of the good 1950's sets present with a nice showing of later mint, back-of-the-book with semi-postals including 1950 Azerbaijan set mint, airmails with first issue complete (needing to be checked) and includes 1935 black overprint set mint (cat $515), officials, etc.

Iran, Collection, 1879-2001, comprehensive collection that the owner had catalogued at $2906 for only the stamps through 1935 (years ago), with many later stamps through 1978 not catalogued, those stamps that are reprints or fakes have been noted in many cases and not counted in catalogue, in additional an almost complete collection from 1965 through 2001 in year sets, a great start with only the genuine counted, still with much room for further completion.
