Buffalo, N.Y. Pan-American Sta. Oct 21 1901, three strikes of duplex ties 1¢-10¢ Pan-American (294-299) complete set on multicolor Exposition ad cover to DeWitt, Iowa, Oct 22nd receiving backstamp; 10¢ with small tear at top right, otherwise Very Fine; with 2015 P.F. certificate.

A REMARKABLE EXAMPLE OF THIS EXPO MARKING ON COVER WITH A COMPLETE SET OF THE PAN-AMERICAN ISSUE.

The left strike is one of the clearest strikes recorded of this marking. This is likely the only recorded use of B01-01 with a complete set.

San Francisco, Cal / M.P.O., three strikes of double-oval cancel tie 2¢ and 5¢ Pan-Pacific (398, 399) and 5¢ Jamestown (330) on 1915 registered cover to Cleveland, Oh., reverse with scarce purple "San Francisco (Model Post Office Sta.) Cal., Registered, Mar 29 1915" double-circle backstamps (Bomar SF-15-06) backstamps, purple Cleveland (4.2) arrival cds; cover opened for display, Very Fine and attractive.

ONE OF ONLY FIVE RECORDED EXAMPLES OF THIS RARE "M.P.O." CANCELLATION USED FROM THE EXPOSITION, THE ONLY RECORDED EXAMPLE ON A REGISTERED COVER.

In addition to this full cover, four other examples of this cancel are known. One used as a back stamp on a cover mailed from the Model Post Office, another as a favor cancel on post card along with Bomar SF15-01, an undated package label mailed from the Exposition company office, and the last is on an undated cover used as a parcel label from the Japanese Tourist Bureau to mail exposition promotional material.

Sep 4 1915, International machine with Model Post Office slogan cancel on legal size ad cover with "Read Every Line, then Pass to Some one Interested in California" slogan bearing 2¢ Pan-Pacific (402), tied by unusually clear strike of "San Francisco, Cal / Model Post Office" double-oval (SF15-05) cancel; unsealed to Stratford N.Y. at the third class rate, Very Fine.

Cal., Registered, Mar 4 1916, two strikes on reverse of Pan-Pacific Expo corner card cover with magenta "Commandant, Exposition Guard" straightline handstamp to local city address, bearing 1¢ & 5¢ Pan-Pacific (401, 403) plus 8¢ Franklin (414) with PPIE perfin, all tied by three strikes of "San Francisco, Cal., Model Post Office" double-ovals (SF15-05); purple "Unclaimed" and "Returned to writer" handstamps; 1¢ faulty, small spindle hole and reduced slightly at right, F.-V.F.
