Egypt, Paid At Alexandria, red crown circle handstamp on 1856 cover to Cork, Ireland, with blue "Alexandria, Mr 21, 1856" origin cds and red crayon "1/-" rating, with red London transit and reverse with green receiving date stamp; some cover edge wear and light tone spts, F.-V.F., a very rare British P.O. usage from Alexandria, Egypt. Ap. 31" on unaddressed Royal official cover on the day of the Graf Zeppelin visit, these were apparently given as souvenirs for Minister level officials of the Royal Egyptian Government, Very Fine.
