1851 (Aug. 4) Boston Mass. to Akyab, Burma, blue datelined folded letter addressed to the care of Messrs. Heath, Palmer & Beatsore at London, with Boston red "Paid" straightline and pencil "24" cent prepaid rating, matching red "19" cent credit rating, carried by Cunard Line America from Boston Aug. 6th to Liverpool Aug. 17th, red London Paid (8.17) arrival cds, forwarded privately to Burma, Very Fine and scarce use to Burma.
Estimate    $400 - 600.

The sender prepaid only the transatlantic packet postage of 24¢ with Boston giving Great Britain a 19¢ credit for British packet service. It was forwarded by Messrs. Heath, Palmer & Beatsore in London privately to Burma.

1852 (Jun. 1) Boston Mass. to Akyab, Burma, blue folded letter with Boston red "Paid" straightline and pencil "45" cent prepaid rating, matching red "40" cent credit rating, carried by Cunard Line Africa from New York Jun. 2nd to Liverpool arriving Jun. 12th, red indistinct London Paid transit, Calcutta (7.3) transit backstamp with bearing "8" rating, Very Fine.
Estimate    $500 - 750.
