"Fasana", gold imprint on flap of registered greenish gray registered cover to Austria bearing 1¢ purple (30), two dull violet (52) singles, 5¢ ultramarine (39), 10¢ red brown (44), all tied by purple four-ring cancels, red "Honolulu, Hawaii, Jun 20, 1892" cds and matching "Registered, Hawaii P.O." registry handstamp adjacent, reverse with San Francisco (5.28), New York (7.5) transits and Graz (7.15) arrival cds; tape stain at bottom, F.-V.F.

Stmr. Kilauea Hou, Hawaiian Mail Service, Oct 18, 1887, bold sharp blue cds (Davey 366, Rarity 1RRRR) on target canceled 1882, 2¢ rose entire to Honolulu, "Honolulu, H.I., Oct 19, 1887" receiving cds; entire slightly reduced at left, Very Fine.

AN EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE WILDER'S STEAMSHIP COMPANY DATE STAMP FROM THE INTERISLAND STEAMER KILAUEA.

An 806 ton wooden hull screw steamer built by Tibbetts and Sorenson at Honolulu in 1878. She continued in the interisland trade until past 1900. Until 1885, she was operated by Capt. Hobron for runs between Honolulu and Kahului. She was transferred to Wilder's Steamship Company in 1885.

Co., two strikes of blue straightline handstamps tie 1¢ yellow (74) and two 12¢ blue (78) singles on registered Gonsalves & Co. corner card cover to Madeira Islands, additional strikes of red Honolulu H.I. cds and matching red "A.R." and registry number handstamps, endorsed "Via England", reverse with Lisbon (10.28) transit and Funchal (10.30) arrival cds, Very Fine; with 2000 P.F. certificate.

AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE BLUE "PACIFIC MAIL S.S. CO." STRAIGHTLINE HANDSTAMP CANCELLING HAWAIIAN MAIL.

The "Pacific Mail S.S. Co." straightline is usually found on cancelling loose trans-pacific mail.

Paquebot, black 22mm straightline handstamp on 2¢ green (UX9) postal card to San Francisco Cal cancelled by matching "San Francisco Cal" double-oval cancel, datelined "Feb. 10. 1897" message mentioning glasses being sent in care of D.B. Smith, light strike of San Francisco Feb. 17th arrival machine cancel, Very Fine, The only strike of this San Francisco 22mm type handstamp we have seen.
