Ship, two strikes of blue handstamp tie 2¢ dull violet (52) on pink preprinted reply envelope to Messr. K. Ogura & Co, Honolulu, Very Fine and rare cancel.
Estimate    $400 - 600.

This "Ship" cancellation is usually found on cancelling loose trans-pacific mail.

Ship, multiple strikes of blue straightline handstamp tie complete set of 1¢-25¢ (74-79) on legal-size registered buff envelope to St. Paul Minn., reverse with "Registered, San Francisco Cal Aug 22" oval and "St. Paul, Minn. Aug 28 1898" receiving cds, Very Fine.
Estimate    $300 - 400.

This is an unusual use with the blue "Ship" cancels that were probably applied by the Pacific Mail Steamship Line.

"Stmr", manuscript cancel on 2¢ vermilion (31), also tied by circular patent grid cancel (Gregory cirgrid25-7 (3 parts - small hollow)) on buff cover to Rev. S.E. Bishop, Lahainaluna, docketed "Aug /72" at right; faulty at right, F.-V.F. and unusual cancel.

R.M.S. "Warrimoo.", purple straightline handstamp and printed "C.S.A. Co." Flag on reverse of cover to Arbroath, Scotland bearing 10¢ yellow green (77) tied by "Honolulu, H.I. May 13, 1898" duplex, forwarded upon arrival to Peterborough, reverse with Abroath (6.9) and Peterborough (6.10) backstamps; opened on two side, F.-V.F.

Wilder Steamship Co. "Paid, Oct 11 1892", oval datestamp (1RRRR) cancels 1¢ red (UX1) postal card with handstamped address to Wailuku Sugar Co., Wailuku, reverse with Wilder's S.S. Co. steamship schedule form datelined for the S.S. Claudine leaving Kahului on Oct. 15th 1892 for Honolulu, datelined "Kahului, Sept. 27th 1892", Very Fine.
