Ahi, Honolulu, H.I., red Chinese character handstamp on cover to Lum Kee & Co., Kapaa, Kauai bearing 2¢ brown (75) tied by partial Honolulu H.I. 1899 duplex, reverse with pink "Ahi, 89 Nuuanu Street, Honolulu, H.I." serrated oval handstamp, docketed "Dec 30, 189" at right; reduced slightly at right, Very Fine.

Ahi, Honolulu, H.I., P.O. Box 942, Jan 25 1898, large purple oval datestamp with ms. 942 overwriting on reverse of cover bearing 2¢ brown (75) tied by "Honolulu H.I. Jun 27 1898" duplex to Kapaa, Kauai, also includes red "Main Port of Honolulu, Ahi" Chinese character handstamp (CHINA-HS-9) on front; reduced at right and small circular cut, F.-V.F.

Ahi was a Chinese furniture and upholstery manufacturer and dealer established in 1895.

Lum Kee, Kapaa, Kauai, correspondence group of 12 covers addressed to Lum Kee, various frankings including #52, 57, 74, 81, all with Chinese character return address writing, one endorsed "per Str Jas Makee" at top left, one was mailed during the 1895 Cholera Epidemic showing fumigation corner cuts; some faults, F.-V.F.
Estimate    $300 - 400.

Wing Chong Lung Tong Yick, red Chinese characteristic handstamp at left on registered cover to San Francisco Cal. bearing two 10¢ red brown, black overprint (68) singles tied by red "Honolulu, Hawaii, Dec 16, 1896" cds, matching "A.R." and "Registered Hawaii P.O." handstamps, endorsed "Per S.S. Australia Register" at top, reverse with "Wing Chong Lung, Honolulu, P.O. Box 161" return address and purple San Francisco (12.23) arrival datestamp; reduced slightly at left, Very Fine.
