1893, 6¢ Green, Black Overprint, o.g., rich deep color, bright and fresh, faint vertical crease, Fine appearance; with 1957 P.F. certificate.

AN ATTRACTIVE MINT EXAMPLE OF THE 1893 6¢ KAMEHAMEHA BLACK OVERPRINT ERROR.

Only one sheet of fifty of these stamps were ever produced. The sheet was purchased by Honolulu Postmaster General Jos. M. Oat. Six of the known examples are used and a number of mint examples were destroyed from the 1906 San Francisco earthquake.

1893, 18¢ Dull Rose, Double Black Overprint, Period After "Govt", one overprint heavy, second moderate, tied by target cancels on locally addressed cover, matching "Honolulu, H.I., Jun 5, 1895" duplex postmark; vertical cover folds and missing backflap, otherwise Very Fine, a rare and possibly unique usage of this double overprint error on cover, Scott catalog doe not list the type II double overprint without the no period variety.
