It is not known who the crossed kahilis stationery was printed for. This stationery was used by King Kalakaua, Queen Kapiolani and the Chamberlain's Office. It may have been printed for the Chamberlain. It is not as old as some may think as Solomons & Chapman Agents (for Lawrences Celebrated Foreign Stationery) of Washington D.C. was not listed in the city directory until 1876.
