Transatlantic Mail Balance, of 11 items; includes 1855 New Orleans to Germany Wurttemberg Consulate cover with scarce Aachen "Franco" straight line handstamp (used only in 1855), 1854 England to Boston with "96" quadruple rate per Pacific, 1838 N.Y. to England with Gilpin Exchange forwarding backstamp, 1837 N.Y. to London "pr Geo. Washington" (Blue Swallow Tail line) with Grinnell, Minturn & Co. forwarding and Liverpool, Ship Letter boxed backstamps, 1878 St. Domingo to N.Y. with "Due 6", "Ship" & Charleston entry postmark all stuck in purple, etc.; condition varied.

Transatlantic Mail Balance, 1723-1875, group of 29 items, late 18th early 19th century usages mostly to/from England including Revolutionary War and 1807 Embargo Act items, 1839 Philadelphia to London with N.Y. forwarder, 1770 with straight line Boston, 1815 London to N.Y. with rare "Post Paid Withdrawn Ship Letter London" datestamp on reverse, 1848 Retaliatory rate usages, some nice later usages; condition above the norm overall with many scarce usages; worth inspection.
