British Africa, Covers, 1861-1941, approximately 60 covers and cards written-up in slips; includes Ascension, Sudan, B.C.A., C.G.H. with 4d triangle on 1861 cover, and later registered entire, Mauritius with scarce early formula post card usage and later registered, Natal with uprated lettercard usage, Gold Coast, Niger Coast 4-color franking on registration entire, turn-of-the-century Rhodesia including registered, uprated postal cards, etc., St. Helena, Sierra Leone, South Africa and S.W.A. including interesting "Hostile Countries Censor" and nice multi-colored frankings, etc.; choice material throughout.

British Africa, Collection, housed in Scott album, with many good to better singles and sets throughout; includes Ascension with a nice selection of mint issues, Bechuanaland with completion in 1886-87 issue to the 10sh, B.C.A. with good mint mid-value 1891-95 issues and 1895-96 issues with mint 5sh, later issue specimens, good showing of B.E.A. issues mint, C.G.H. including Mafeking issues on piece, East Africa & Uganda with good 1903 higher values mint and a nice showing of later, good Gold Coast including Sc #10 (cat $250) and 1898-1902 set complete (cat $432), useful later Mauritius, Natal with good first issues and better later QV 7 KEVII issues, Rhodesia mixed */o, Sierra Leone with 1921-27 issue complete mint to the 10sh, Somaliland Protectorate with many complete mint sets, good later Zanzibar including dues, Zululand, etc.; condition varies with nice fresh mint throughout.

Durban - Capetown flight (pilot signed), S.W.A. with 1931-32 flights from Windhoek, Southern Rhodesia with 1932 Bulawayo - Dodma first flight, 1931 Bulawayo - Johannesburg experimental flight, etc.; choice material throughout.

British Commonwealth, Stock, nice selection of several hundreds singles and sets on dealer pages, with pricing generally in the $5-$50+ range; with items including Ceylon Sc. 4 used (retail $45, cat $75), Australia #41 used (cat $60), good later mint including airmails, Cyprus mint singles and sets, N.Z. 288-301 mint, many Omnibus sets including Royal Wedding, etc.; nice fresh mint issues and used mostly neatly canceled, occasional flaws to be expected (with retail reflecting), retail totals $3,205, worth proper evaluation.
