France, Pioneer Aviation Postcard Collection, a remarkable assembly of approximately 1600 cards in slips; nearly all from 1900-10's showing the vast array of pilots, aeroplanes, early hydroplanes, aviation meets, expositions, WWI aviation, etc.; nice mix of both mint and used cards, various series cards including 1909 "Grand Semaine D'Aviation De La Champagne", 1911 "Besancon-Aviation" and 1911 "Toulouse-Aviation" to name just a few, autographed cards including Pegoud and Rigal, 1903 Aeronautique Club card, approximately 75 bearing aviation labels including 1910 Cannes Aviation, 1909 Grande Semaine Aviation, 1910 Dijon Aviation, 1910 Caen Semaine D'Aviation, etc., some other aviation cards including early Zeppelin related and the occasional later item; condition varies with duplication to be expected, a wonderful assembly of these seldom seen cards.
