Portugal, Accumulation, collection of various items on hingeless pages in Lindner album; with may key sets including 1894 Prince Henry set mint (Sc. 97-109, cat $1,596) and a near complete set tied on piece, 1895 St. Anthony set complete used all with neat attractive cancels (132-146, cat $1,220), 1895-1900 Carlos issues mint with the better values present, section of Waterlow specimen mini-sheets of 6 for Port Cols (8 different), 1898 De Gamma set mint and later good commemorative sets 1923 Presidents set including an large archival photographic essay, the good 1920's sets present mint, back-of-the-book, etc.; worth evaluation.

Portugal & Colonies, Collection, housed on Scott pages, mostly mint with modest to good showing of issues in 19th century and stronger in early 20th century; includes Azores nearly complete 1898-1926 issues including 1898 De Gama set, parcel posts complete, Cape Verde with complete 1913 De Gama sets, Funchal lacking only high values, Guinea with 1911-13 sets, Macao and Mozambique, Portugal with a few used useful early issues, 1910 K. Manuel II sets and good 1911 sets present, complete early Ceres sets, 1927 2nd Independence set, 1920-22 parcel post set (cat $228), useful Congo and India, Tete complete, etc., also includes some balance material including U.S.; nice material throughout.
