Koban, 2s carmine on reverse of cover from Harford, Conn. to Kyoto, Japan, initially franked with U.S. 2¢ carmine (220) tied by bold duplex postmark, with "Due 6" in circle handstamp alongside, with 22 different forwarding slips on face, edge flaws, F.-V.F. and unusual.

Japan, 1921, 1½s Wedding of Crown Prince (unissued), choice centering, neatly affixed at bottom of bronze embossed and black litho picture postcard depicting the Royal couple, tied by fancy red "13.1.26" Tokyo commemorative cancel (Jan 6, 1924), Very Fine, a rare "used" example of this unissued value; with 2014 ISJP certificate.

Tokyo postmarks are actually scarcer than those on remainders with South Sea Mandate marks.
