Mexico, (Chihuahua) Cosiguriachi, two-line postmark (YB CH50) and manuscript "Certificado a Cosiguriachi, Salio en 6 Octe. 1820" on colonial registered front to Presidio de Huajuqilla, manuscript Chihuahua Octubre 10 transit at bottom, bottom flap with "Resebi Barbara Vaeza" signature of recipient; some edge reinforcement, otherwise Very Fine, a unique colonial usage from this tiny town and the only recorded registered colonial cover addressed to a women.
Estimate    $1,500 - 2,000.

Presidio de Huajuqilla was a remote military outpost during this period. This presidio became the town of Jimenez in 1828.

Mexico, (Durango) Durango, certification boxed handstamp (Schatzkes 236A) on registered front sello negro dated August 1863, to Zacatecas with matching boxed "Franco" handstamp (237) and oval handstamps (236B) in corners, Very Fine, no stamps were received by this office until 1864.
