Mexico, (Hermosillo) Ures, red oval postmark (YB HR121) on registered official front to Arizpe, with additional strikes in corners, manuscript 1848 certification box and cross hatching lines which were used in the colonial period (custom probably remained in this small town), "De oficio" notation and Sonora governor seal handstamp, Very Fine.

Mexico, "Nueva Espana", red two-line postmark (YB X1) on colonial cover to Pamplona, with red official paid seal of the postmaster "Zapata" handstamp; cover tear at bottom right, Very Fine, the use of this name markings was rare with 10 to 15 different ones are known, this being the only recorded of this postmaster.
Estimate    $400 - 600.

Mexico, (Oaxaca) Pinotepa, bold brown origin date stamp (YB OJ100) on 1843 folded letter to Tlaxico, with fancy Jamiltepec oval transit handstamp (OJ51) and bold "3" rate handstamp, Very Fine and attractive.

Mexico, (Puebla) Cholula, boxed straight line postmark (YB PU90) on 1790 colonial registered front to Mexico, with manuscript "Franca Vega" marking which was the name of the postmaster, manuscript certification dating at center and cross hatching around the edges, Very Fine, one of the earliest usages of the Cholula marking, approximately ten colonial registered fronts are known and most are now in the large Soler collection.
Estimate    $2,500 - 3,500.

Mexico, (Puebla) Cholula, bold boxed straight line postmark (YB PU90) on 1796 colonial registered front to Mexico City, with manuscript "Franca Gomez" marking which was the name of the postmaster, fancy scroll "Franqueado En Puebla" handstamp at right, manuscript certification date postmark and cross hatching around the edges; few small internal holes, still Very Fine, approximately ten colonial registered fronts are known and most are now in the large Soler collection.
