THE ONLY KNOWN USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1878 ONE TOMAN RE-ENGRAVED LION ISSUE ON PIECE.

Blue paper was used to indicate the Toman denomination. No multiples of this issue are known to distinguish the settings, but most likely were printed in the same setting as the one Kran stamps on yellow paper.

Italy & Colonies, 1926 Polar Flight of the Dirigible "Norge", specially printed petite flown card over the North Pole, franked with a remarkable vertical se-tenant pair of the Nobile flight vignette, one stamp with an inverted center, in addition to being imperforate between (Sanabria #S3i), tied along with a Netherlands 10c adhesive to the reverse by two strikes of violet flight cachet oval handstamps, the address side of the card are two strikes of special double circle "Luftpost Med 'Norge', 11-14 V 1926, Svalbard - Nordpolen - Alaska" double-circle flight cachets, card indicia signed by member of the flight crew, in addition signed by the legendary stamp dealer Philipp Kosack, Very Fine.
Estimate    $2,000 - 3,000.

AN ENORMOUSLY RARE CARD, BELIEVED TO BE THE ONLY COVER KNOWN BEARING THIS RARE COMBINATION ERROR OF THE FLIGHT VIGNETTE.
