Special Delivery, 1895, 10¢ Blue, top plate number 77 and Bureau imprint type III strip of five with frequent plate use indicated by many pressmen's initials, well centered with beautiful warm color, guideline arrow at right, o.g., never hinged, exceedingly fresh and Very Fine.

Plate 77 was the first plate used to print the watermark issue.

Special Delivery, 1895, 10¢ Blue, Dots in Curved Frame Above Messenger, plate no. 882 and imprint block of nine with strong offset of plate no. 880 and imprint on reverse, o.g., hinged reinforced perf separations, F.-V.F.

A SPECTACULAR EXHIBITION ITEM WITH E5A PLATE #882 ON FRONT AND E5 PLATE #880.

This offset on the reverse of the stamp apparently was from a very wet pane for such clarity and impression. After the pane dried, it was gummed as usual.
