THE ONLY RECORDED EXAMPLE OF THIS 1902 10¢ SPECIAL DELIVERY ISSUE PHOTO WASH MODEL, CURRENTLY UNLISTED IN THE SCOTT CATALOG.

This photo wash model was produced by W. Ostrander Smith, the Bureau designer of the 1902 Issue. The bicycle design was adapted to signify Special Delivery service as part of the newly issued series of 1902. The text tablet indicated service availability "at any post office".
