Special Delivery, 1922, 10¢ Gray Violet - Plate Number & Initials, mint and used group on two exhibit pages including bottom plate number "13916" block of six with inverted "F" (only E12 plate no. with this variety), right plate number 13918 block of 10 with signatures of W.I. Glover (3rd Asst. PMG), M.L. Eldsness Jr. (Superintendent of Stamps) and L.A. Hill (Director of BEP), 7 plate number singles (2 are used) including rare "18686" (only two known), and six mint sideographer corner margin singles, Very Fine.

Special Delivery, 1922, 10¢ Gray Violet - Postal History, exhibit group of 14 covers and cards mounted on pages including 1925 use on 1¢ postal card (UX27) from Marlboro N.Y. to NYC, 1924 combined registered-special delivery local use within Providence, 1924 use from Cincinnati to Oakland Ca. with purple "Delivery Delayed, Late Train" handstamp, airmail service, illegal revenue use to pay proxy tax, foreign destination including 1926 postal card (UX25) Washington D.C. to London England with pair paying the 20¢ foreign Special Delivery fee; few faults, F.-V.F., an interesting group with many better.
