The Canada 6¢ Small Queen pays the 6¢ treaty rate effective April 1st 1868 from Canada to the United States.

City of Adelaide to San Francisco, closed bag to Canada, reverse with Halifax (8.21) and St. John's Newfoundland (8.27) cds, blue crayon "5c" due rating for Canada inland postage crossed out and Newfoundland blue crayon "5" due, St. Pierre arrival cds and manuscript "0.52" cents due rating; small part of flap missing and some edge wear, Very Fine.

1875 (Mar. 15) St. Pierre et Miquelon to Harbor Grace, Newfoundland, double-weight Watts correspondence cover with "St. Pierre et Miquelon, 15 Mars 75" origin cds bearing Newfoundland 1873 3d blue (34) vertical pair, manuscript cancels, to be sent by Tiger that was unable to enter the harbor due to ice between Mar. 16th and 29th, additional St. Pierre (3.31) departure cds to Halifax arriving with Apr. 5th backstamp where Canada 3c Small Queen (37) horizontal pair affixed and cancelled by oval grid, the Newfoundland blue crayon "10" crossed out as well as the "6" for Canada, sent by mail ship to Newfoundland departing Halifax Apr. 14th but again delayed due to ice reaching St. John's Apr. 28th, St. John's (4.29) transit backstamp, Harbor Grace (4.29) arrival cds; cover opening tear, Very Fine, ex-Lübke.
