Hawaii, E.O. Hall & Son Limited., Hardware and Ship Chandlery, Honolulu H.I., beautiful dark blue corner card on cover bearing 5¢ ultramarine (39) tied by "Honolulu, H.I. Mar 10, 1892" duplex to Ridge Mills N.Y., purple "E.O. Hall & Son. Ship Chandlers, Honolulu H.I." oval handstamp on flap, excellent letter that mentions "Whaling season makes things lively just at this present and a dozen whale ships laying off and on the harbor are as pretty as sight as one could wish to see meet nearly - all the captains and get treated to some pretty fishy yarns…" and a visit of the U.S. armored cruiser San Francisco to Honolulu; some soiling, barely reduced at right, F.-V.F.
