Kansas Postal History, 1860-1900's, accumulation of more than 640+ covers, stationery and cards, in 6 binders, representing A-Z of Kansas counties and towns, the majority DPOs; a wide variety of usages, frankings, cancellations with manuscripts, townmarks, nice fancy, registered, many good corners, few advertising, patriotic, few scarce; majority identified by city and county, includes a selection of RPOs with interesting corners and cancels; condition for the most part is quite good with the occasional tired cover, quite an impressive holding, please inspect, F.-V.F.

Highlights include manuscript Paid 10 rate on 1813 cover to Philadelphia, 1816 Marshallton manuscript 10 cent rate to Harrisburg, 1828 Kimberton double circle postmark with Quaker date at 10 cent rate to Bucks County, Paid 3, 18mm circle with Valley Forge circle town pmk to Chester County listed as "Only known to date stampless with circle date" and quite a few more listed as "earlier than" etc.; an impressive offering mounted and described on exhibition pages, please inspect.
