France, Classic Issues Accumulation, 1849-98, substantial mostly used group of hundreds arranged on large stockcards in binder; starting with the 1849 Ceres issue complete used with most denominations in duplication, including 40c pair, 1851 President issue x2 used, 1853 Napoleon issue with numerous singles to the 80c, later issues in similar format including 1869 5fr x2, 1871 10c on 10c surcharge with cert., good showing of Bordeaux and Siege issues, sections of cancels including a nice showing of offices abroad, printed newspaper, red cancels, etc., section of Sage issues with some mint up to mid-values and used to high values, premium cancels, etc., good show of due issues; condition mixed with many attractive items throughout, worth proper evaluation.

France, Essay & Trial Color Collection, 1849-76, approximately 240 emissions on pages; starting with 10 Ceres trial colors in various colors and papers, following essays including 1850 Meillet et Pichot 20c Ceres essays including block on moire paper and 10c+20c Morel essays used on piece, large section of 1853 Napoleon trial colors including numerous multiples, double prints, etc., 1863 Napoleon issue trial colors, 1866 Renard envelopes essays, 1869 Prince portrait essays including die proofs on blue and black, other essay type items including fantasy; interesting and scarce group.

France, Collection, 1849-1950, cleanly mounted on homemade album pages in 2 books with a selection of better material, many earlier pages with additional shade varieties; includes used Ceres Scott 1, 7, Napoleons 10-11, 1861-70 issue 29-37, 1870-71 issue 38, 41-42, good showing of Peace and Commerce, Sower, Le Havre Exhibition Scott 246, 1937 Souvenir Sheet 329 used; second book with BOB - Semi-Postals, Airs, Offices, Military with some better material; overall a very nice and clean selection with good value, inspection recommended.

France, Forgery Reference Collection, housed in two stockbooks and album; includes a section on the early Ceres and Napoleon issues showing forgeries from makers including Fournier and Spiro as well a other including possible Oneglia, section of Susse & Perce faux perfs, faux cancels, etc., later issues including study of the Sower issue forgeries including faux de Turin, 'Lorulot', Toulon, Paris and Nice, section of Forbin 5fr Liberty & Peace fakes with additional value overprint fakes, dues, first airmail forgeries and other overprint forgeries, the 1f50c Petin forgeries including many sheets and other issues, etc.; a very interesting group for the specialist.
