Tiffany, J.K., History of the Postage Stamps of the United States of America, 1887 (1st edition), hardbound rebound in fine grain leather with tooling and gold stamping, 4pp+ 9-278pp (Crawford 380) plus (2nd edition), 1893, hardbound, original binding 4pp+9-320pp. This is the second (unstated) edition with another Tiffany portrait in frontispiece and different pagination, this edition of the classic book is far rarer than the first.

Moens, 1883, three volumes, CPW, 114+96+84pp., uncut, unbound and contained in magnificent full leather folding solander with raised spines and gold stamping, 1/150, this seminal book published in Brussels, Belgium was the first comprehensive survey of U.S. issues, nearly every example of this publication has been bound; with some professional repair of spines and pages.
