Radial Geometric, perfect strike ties 5¢ Taylor (179) on 1876 cover to Glasgow, Scotland, red "New York 'D' Nov 4" exchange cds, Glasgow (11.16.76) arrival backstamp, Very Fine.
Weiss No. TR-S5    Estimate $150 - 200.

The New York "D" exchange cds has perplexed students, but it is believed to mean "Direct" mail. This exchange cds is one of the rarer New York types (Weiss Postmark #12).
