1860, 24¢ gray lilac, strong color, tied by red circular grid cancel and matching ""New York '19' May 3" credit exchange cds on cover addressed to Capt. William J. Chever of Bark Magi care of agent at London, carried transatlantic by Cunard Line Asia from New York May 8th to Liverpool arriving May 20th, red London Paid (5.21.61) arrival cds; couple small stamp flaws, otherwise Very Fine and attractive use.

1860, 30¢ orange, s.e. at right showing gutterline and portion of adjacent stamp, canceled by grid handstamp on small cover to Bavaria, matching "Bristol, R.I., May 3" origin cds and straight line "Paid" and manuscript "30" above, stamp tied by red "N. York Br. Pkt., 7 Paid, May 4" exchange cds, red Aachen boxed transit date stamp; light cover edge wear and slightly reduced at top missing backflap, otherwise Very Fine; with 1997 P.S.E. certificate.
