Confederacy, Columbia, S.C., 1861, 5¢ blue, seal on back, blue "Paid" in circle & matching "5" rate handstamped postmaster provisionals with control on top back flap, blue "Columbia, S.C., July 9" (1861) cds on cover with embossed Yarns & Kerseys corner card, addressed to Gainesville, Florida, expertly repaired flap tears including one through the control mark, Very Fine and choice appearance, the only known example used to Florida.
